Educational At The Residence Tunis by Cenizaro for 7 Italian Tour Operators

Seven italian representatives of the best  Tour Operators took part in the educational event held from 15 to 18 November at The Residence Tunis by Cenizaro.

At the resort of La Marsa, inspired by the architecture of the Arab-Andalusian heritage that dominates a stretch of inviolate beach, selected agents have been spend together some  days dedicated to the discovery of the luxurious hotel  that sees among its strengths a Spa Talasso cured by ESPA in the sign of holistic philosophy, and the “temple” of the 18-hole golf course designed by the “golf architect” Robert Trent Jones II.

Tunisia experience has recorded positive comments from the group that has directly experienced the quality of the offer, services, and the 155 rooms and 9 suites with luxurious and elegant furnishings that usually welcome guests in a relaxing atmosphere dominated by white and from honey and ivory shades. Among the pluses of the resort, the food & beverage offer includes 5 restaurants: L’Olivier, inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, Li Bai and its oriental  delicacies, Zembra for a quick snack by the pool, El Dar inspired by authentic Tunisian flavors , and the Le Salon lounge bar.

The program has not missed the attention to the evocative landscapes of the area and the cultural offer of this region thanks to the visit to the Museum of Carthage and the seaside village of Sidi Bou Said with its characteristic white buildings decorated with portals, windows and verandas blue. Once a quiet fishing village, this enchanting corner of Tunisia owes its international fame to the English baron Rodolphe d’Erlanger, who settled there in 1912 and built a sumptuous palace known all over the world. An absolutely popular stop that has allowed the discovery of a slice of quiet everyday life, the visit to the Tunis medina, inserted in the Unesco heritage, full of characteristic cafés and shops, where the Tunisians love spending their free time and shopping.

The Educational was realized thanks to the precious collaboration of Tunisair, the flag carrier present in Italy since 1949, and that in 2019 will celebrate its 70th anniversary in Italy.

Today the company operates from 7 Italian airports: Rome, Milan, Verona, Venice, Bologna, Naples and Palermo (in the latter two cities through the Tunisair Express branch), offering about forty weekly flights to Tunis during the year and Djerba and Monastir in the summer.

In addition to the Tunisia offer, Tunisair is increasingly moving towards the use of Tunis airport as an ideal hub to connect Europe with West Africa, and that is why the African network will be increasingly developed for the next few years where we plan to open at least two new African routes a year.
